Abstract: The concept of generic data modelling is described by two examples of measurement databases. At first it is discussed for the example of a biosignal database containing biosignal records, biophysical data and clinical data from patients suffering from cardiac diseases. Then its application for the management of all calibration data in vacuum metrology is discussed.
